Melania Trump’s Speechwriter ADMITS Using Michelle Obama’s Words, Says Donald Refused to Accept Her
While the Donald Trump refuses to acknowledge his wife Melania Trump’s blatant plagiarism of First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech, the person responsible for writing it IS.
Meredith McIver, an in-house staff writer for the Trump campaign, issued a statement admitting her ‘mistake’ and says that ‘no harm was meant.’
Meredith also says that Melania has ‘always liked’ Michelle Obama and that Melania read passages of the First Lady’s speech to her over the phone — which Meredith later included in Melania’s speech.
The interesting part about all this is that Meredith also says that she tried to resign, but Donald refused to accept it and said that ‘people make innocent mistakes.’
