Simone Biles Takes a Tumble at the VMAs

Simone Biles stuck every crucial landing she needed to during her Olympic dominance in Rio de Janeiro, leaving the Summer Games with four gold medals.

But even the superstar gymnast wasn't any match for a pair of high heels and a staircase, as she took a different kind of tumble at Madison Square Garden in New York City during MTV's Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

TMZ Sports reported that Simone's slip and fall came after she presented an award to Beyoncé with her Final Five teammates.

Oof...this is a nasty spill.

Ouch! That had to hurt.

Like a true athlete and Olympic hero, though, Simone bounced right up after the fall and she is OK.

Despite the tumble being caught on camera, the world already knows that nine times out of 10, Simone is going to stick that landing.

That and the moment couldn't take away from all the fun she had at the VMAs.
