This Is How Nick Young's Name Has Been Dragged Into Derrick Rose's Rape Case

In court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Rose's defense evoked Young's name to discredit his rape accuser's claims that she's "prudish" and sexually inexperienced by alleging that she hooked up with the Los Angeles Lakers forward prior to be involved with Rose.

Rose's defense team says that it has text messages between Rose's rape accuser, Jane Doe, and her roommate from November 2014 about Swaggy P. One text allegedly reads, "Since u goin to nicks can u please tell him to give u my bra lol."

The New York Knicks' point guard says her roommate confirmed that the text was about Young, even though Nick was dating Iggy Azalea at the time.

TMZ adds that the documents also cite Jane Doe to have interacted with many celebrities, having allegedly had sexual relationships with at least two other players in addition to Rose.

The celebrity site reached out to Young for comment, but hasn't received any word back.

If true, Rose's legal team might be successful in erasing his accuser's claim of being "prudish," however, we can't see how it could be used to exonerate their client of sexual assault.

Rose is being sued by his accuser for $21.5 million. All along, his defense has downplayed the rape allegation as nothing more than a cash-grab attempt.

The start date of the trial is slated for October 4, which is also the tip-off for the Knicks' first pre-season game.
